Dr. Althea Penn is a seasoned early educator and program administrator who is skilled in the craft of leading, administration, teaching, creative in problem-solving, keenly observant, able to guide others in reflective practice, and flexible in relating to other adults. She enjoys introducing clients to new instructional, management, and/or leadership strategies. She talks openly and directly with early educators and directors about their work, helps them improve their skills in interacting with children, families, and colleagues, while providing insightful information, resources, and feedback. She has over thirty years of experience in program administration and teaching young children, expertise in mentoring, and a command of relevant skills and knowledge to share with her protégés about education administration, pedagogy, and how children learn.

Family Development Services with Coach Penn

Are you seeking guidance and healing for your marriage or life in general? Look no further! Our Biblical Coaching and Marriage Counseling Services offer compassionate, faith-based support for individuals or couples navigating the complexities of life. Coach Penn has completing training with the Biblical Counseling Foundation, Restoring the Foundation Healing Ministry, Elijah House Ministry, and is a certified Family Development Specialist and ordained pastor with over 30 years of experience in youth ministry, coaching, and counseling.

Pre-Marital Counseling

Pre-Marital Counseling: Prepare for a strong foundation before saying “I do.” Couples engage in exploring God's purpose for marriage. Preparing for Marriage includes eight sessions of fun, romantic study that will help couples identify areas for growth in their relationship and start them off on the right foot before they walk down the aisle. Couples will learn how to discern God’s will for their relationship, to handle finances and plans for the future, to clarify their roles and responsibilities, to develop a loving sexual relationship, to deal with family histories and past issues, and much more!

Marriage Counseling

Coaching

Believers are challenged to walk in their purpose through Biblical Coaching around reflective thinking and goal setting using the Biblical Counseling Foundation's self-confrontation approach. Self-Confrontation will help you learn how the Bible is sufficient and applicable to produce lasting victory in every circumstance and relationship, no matter how difficult.
