This seminar: Promotes positive parenting strategies Supports children’s development Provides strategies for managing challenging behaviors These workshops are designed to encourage Christian families, promote optimal development, and help children to reach their full potential! Challenging topics are explored from a Biblical perspective. Session one focuses on Biblical discipline strategies. Participants identify several discipline and communication techniques as we discuss using time outs, setting limits, spanking, handling temper tantrums, toilet training, and more. Parents will have an opportunity to discuss different discipline scenarios and ways to react to each. You will go home with many tools for making discipline a less stressful and more positive experience. Session two covers making mealtimes a positive experience for everyone. Parents learn how to incorporate sharing Biblical values during meals, plan healthy meals, and physical activities that encourage strong family bonds. Session three is a primer for parents that are interested in determining their child’s developmental level and encouraging early literacy skills development. Tips for enhancing student achievement and overcoming developmental delays, disabilities, and learning difficulties are also provided. Participants will receive free milestone checklists, measuring charts, and more!
