About the event
Understanding the Biblical purpose for marriage is fundamental to being able to successfully navigate both of those topics. Since God designed marriage it would only make sense that it works best His way. The happiest, most fulfilling relationships are those where God is the initiator, sustainer, and center. The first step to having healthy relationships horizontally is developing and growing in your relationship with your Creator, the Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By His grace, your relationship will blossom into the one relationship that provides shelter from ALL of life's storms. The Penns will be sharing in a sesion entitled Richer or Poorer: a biblical perspective on money and possessions. These principles will be of great value to anyone who believes that the Word of God contains divine counsel that will guide married couples in making today’s financial decisions. Rev. Mike and Dr. Althea Penn co-labor as authors, speakers, Bible teachers, and marriage counselors. They have enjoyed 40 years of marriage and are the parents of two daughters (who are educators), one son-in-love, and two grandchildren. Mike disciples young men through Molding Mighty Men and his role as Bible teacher at Young Americans Christian School and Althea serves as an educational consultant offering organization and professional development services for the Association of Christian Schools International and their firm; Penn Consulting.
