10 Hour Health and Safety Training and Orientation

Create safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. Dr. Penn has facilitated this training since 2005, leading thousands of school leaders and early educators to maximize each student's postential. The Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG, also known as Child Care Development Fund, or CCDF) Reauthorization requires early childhood educators caring for children and youth to complete a basic health and safety training covering ten specific health and safety-related topics. This workshop provides ten hours of Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning: Bright from the Start approved health and safety training. Participants will gain a broad view of the National Health and Safety Standards which promote the well being of children in educational settings.
